The „Art Escape 2018“ at Palazzo Zenobio in Venice, Italy

The „Art Escape 2018“ in Venice was opened on Saturday with a great vernissage. This exhibition of contemporary art lasts until 20 October and gives an interesting insight into the work of mainly Italian artists. With eight paintings, Irene Müller is one of the few foreign artists in this high-profile exhibition.

The „Art Escape 2018“ is located in one of the most beautiful baroque palaces of the lagoon city of Venice. It is not far from Campo Santa Margherita and very close to the Chiesa dei Carmini. The Palazzo Zenobio not only offers an ideal environment for art exhibitions, but also a beautiful park.

The palazzo is located on a canal and the exhibition rooms are facing the canal and the park inside. The Palazzo was built in 1690 by the Zenobio family. At that time the Zenobio’s were well-known patrons and famous philanthropists. The Palazzo was long the seat of the College of Padri Armeni Mechitaristi di San Lazzaro. The Salone degli Specchi, an 18th-century jewel with frescoes by Louis Dorigny, is located on the main floor. The frescoes by Gregorio Lazzarini and the paintings by Luca Carlevarijs in the Sala degli Stucchi are also admirable.

Die Art Escape 2018 in Venedig wurde am Samstag mit einer grossartigen Vernissage eröffnet. Diese Ausstellung zeitgenössischer Kunst dauert bis zum 20. Oktober und gibt einen interessanten Einblick in die Arbeit hauptsächlich italienischer Künstler. Mit acht Bildern ist die Künstlerin Irene Müller eine der wenigen ausländischen Teilnehmerinnen an dieser hochkarätigen Ausstellung.

Das Art Escape 2018 befindet sich in einem der schönsten Barockpaläste der Lagunenstadt Venedig. Es ist nicht weit von Campo Santa Margherita und ganz in der Nähe der Chiesa dei Carmini. Der Palazzo Zenobio bietet nicht nur ein ideales Umfeld für Kunstausstellungen, sondern auch einen wunderschöne Gartenanlage.

Der Palazzo liegt an einem Kanal und die Ausstellungsräume sind zum Kanal und zum Park im Innern ausgerichtet. Der Palazzo wurde 1690 von der Familie Zenobio erbaut. Zu dieser Zeit waren die Zenobio’s bekannte Gönner und berühmte Philanthropen. Der Palazzo war lange Sitz des Kollegiums der Padri Armeni Mechitaristi di San Lazzaro. Der Salone degli Specchi, ein Juwel aus dem 18. Jahrhundert mit Fresken von Louis Dorigny, befindet auf dem Hauptgeschoss. Die Fresken von Gregorio Lazzarini und die Gemälde von Luca Carlevarijs in der Sala degli Stucchi sind ebenfalls bewundernswert.

Für Kunst- und Geschichtsinteressierte bietet die Art Escape 2018 eine ausgezeichnete Gelegenheit, diesen wunderschönen barocken Palazzo zu besichtigen.
