International Day of Peace on September 21st

Today, on 21st September, peace will be in focus. In 2001, the United Nations declared this day to be the World Day of Peace or International Day of Peace. This was done to strengthen the peace idea between peoples and nations at least during one day of the year. Given the current troubled times and the many terrible wars, it is a good reason to pause for a moment and to remember the many innocent victims. Let’s hope together for a peaceful and harmonious future for all people on this beautiful and unique earth! Think about what you can do for peace not only today but for any day!

Heute, am 21. September, steht der Frieden im Fokus! Dieser Tag wurde 2001 von den Vereinten Nationen zum Weltfriedenstag oder zum Internationalen Tag des Friedens erklärt. Dies geschah, um die Friedensidee zwischen den Völkern und Nationen zumindest an einem Tag des Jahres zu stärken. Angesichts der gegenwärtigen unruhigen Zeiten und der vielen schrecklichen Kriege ist es ein guter Grund, für einen Moment innezuhalten und sich an die vielen unschuldigen Opfer zu erinnern. Lasst uns zusammen für eine friedliche und harmonische Zukunft für alle Menschen auf dieser schönen und einzigartigen Erde hoffen! Denk darüber nach, was du für Frieden tun kannst, nicht nur heute, sondern für jeden Tag!
