Travel to Alaska – landing on water in a Beaver float plane

Travel to Alaska, come aboard 🙂 and join me in the famous and immortal “Beaver” landing on water in King Salmon, Alaska. The ‚de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver’ is a single-engined high-decker aircraft. The Beaver can start and land on very short runways (Short Takeoff and Landing) and was developed and manufactured between 1947 and 1967 by the company de Havilland Canada as a land and float plane. These planes are still being flown today. Mainly they serve as post office, transport and bush planes in the most remote places in the world, as in my case, operated by Katmai Air as Shuttle Service between King Salmon and Brooks Lodge in the Katmai National Park & Preserve.
